The Ai.Connect requires access to an internet connection to login and access your data from Ai.Study. You may connect to the internet using an Ethernet Connection or through a Wi-Fi connection. The Ai.Connect may connect to any networks using the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standard.
Setup the Network Connection for Internet Access
- Connect the Wi-Fi antenna to the back of the Ai.Connect.
- The antenna is designed to screw on to the back of the Ai.Connect using the built in antenna connector point.
- If you choose to use an Ethernet Connection, in most cases the plugging of the Ethernet cable into the Ai.Connect Ethernet Port will provide you connectivity.
- Tap on the Settings icon in the Navigation menu or on the Home screen
- Tap the Wifi icon for Ai.Connect to scan for available wireless networks.
- Tap on your preferred Wi-Fi network (Network SSID) from the list of available networks.
- Tap Connect
- If prompted for a Password or Network Key (SSID Authentication Key), enter the Password or Network Key provided to you by your Network Administrator to authorize your connection to the network.
Connecting to internet via an Ethernet (LAN)
- Tap on your preferred Wi-Fi network (Network SSID) from the list of available networks.
- Tap Connect
- If prompted for a Password or Network Key (SSID Authentication Key), enter the Password or Network Key provided to you by your Network Administrator to authorize your connection to the network.
Disable your Wi-Fi network adapter
If you need to Disable your Wi-Fi adapter you will need to access the Microsoft Windows User Login screen.
- Attach a USB Keyboard to the Ai.Connect.
- On the connected keyboard hold down the CTRL+ALT+DEL keyboard keys to access the Microsoft Windows ‘User Login screen’.
- Tap the Wi-Fi button located at the bottom right hand corner of the User Login Screen.
- Enable and Disable the Wi-Fi adapter: Tap on the Toggle Button to Turn Off (Disable) or Turn On (Enable) the Wi-Fi
Network Security - Firewalls, Proxy, Network Keys, MAC and Captive Portals
Ai.Connect Users cannot access the Network settings on an Ai.Connect.
